Gensec has launched io investors, a business offering European institutional investors access to both investment consulting and multi-management services, including a fund of hedge funds.

Io investors was created earlier this year. It offers multi-manager services directly, and has a relationship with PSolve, the investment consultancy created when Gensec, the South African financial services company, purchased Punter Southall's investment consultancy unit. PSolve sells advice on strategic investment decisions, such as asset allocation.
