Two fresh hopefuls have stepped forward for a listing on Frankfurt's high-growth Neuer Markt, both of them computer firms and each hoping to launch deals before the end of the year.

Gericom, an Austrian computer consultancy, has opted for a listing on the Neuer Markt in preference to its home market, the Vienna Stock Exchange. The company, which already has operations in Germany, has named HSBC Trinkaus as lead manager for its initial public offering. Gericom has yet to put a timescale in place for its share issue or establish a valuation for the company.
