German broker pulls IPO

Lang & Schwarz, the German broking firm which has recently made a name for itself by rescuing troubled Neuer Markt companies from delisting at the last minute by stepping in as their broker, has been forced to postpone its own plans to go public.

The firm, which was expected to be valued at around €120m ($103m), had originally planned to go public by the end of the year, but has dropped the IPO with no indication as to when it may return to the market.
