German court rejects BlackRock staff-poaching suit

The legal case brought by US asset manager BlackRock against UK rival Schroders over the alleged poaching of its German staff has been dismissed by a Frankfurt court, after being thrown out of a US court last month.

The injunction, filed at the Frankfurt Landgericht, had sought to prevent Achim Küssner, BlackRock's former head of Germany, and four other staff from working for Schroders until March 31, 2008.
