German firms set to yield on pay

German companies will eventually disclose the pay details of individual directors, a member of Germany's government-backed committee on corporate governance said last week.

Christian Strenger, a supervisory board director of DWS, the mutual fund arm of Deutsche Bank, said: 'It seems that German companies are warming up to disclosing pay details. I think we are on the way on this one.'
