The German federal government is expected to pass a law in the autumn that will lead to the mandatory disclosure of executive pay.

Theodor Baums, the Frankfurt University professor and head of the government commission which came up with the voluntary corporate code of conduct, told Financial News Online that such a proposal had the backing of Brigitte Zypries, the justice minister, and of cross-party support in Bundestag, the German federal parliament.
