German IPO market gears up for pedal power

Mitteldeutsche Fahrradwerke, the bicycle maker, is planning to float in Frankfurt next month in a bid to become the first German initial public offering for nearly two years.

Merck Finck, the German private bank, is leading the IPO, which comprises 1.5 million shares and will represent a 25% free float.
