German new issues hit by Siltronic IPO delay

Siltronic, the German silicon wafer chip manufacturer, has postponed its €838m ($1bn) flotation, dealing another blow to Germany's struggling new issues market after X-Fab, the German semiconductor company, pulled its IPO last week.

Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank were bookrunners for Siltronic, which would have been the first new issue in Germany for more than a year. It was due to start trading on Friday.
