German prosecutors charge Deutsche Bank executive

Charges relate to legal dispute with heirs of media mogul Leo Kirch

German prosecutors on Tuesday pressed charges against Deutsche Bank co-chief executive Jürgen Fitschen and former board members over alleged false court testimony in the bank's long-running legal battle with the heirs of former media mogul Leo Kirch.

Fitschen is accused of failing to correct false statements made by former board members and Deutsche Bank lawyers in hearings connected to the legal dispute.
