Techno Venture Management (TVM), the Munich venture capitalist, has hired Peter Hoffmann-Fischer as senior advisor to help build up companies in its life sciences portfolio.

Hoffmann-Fischer was formerly a managing director at Robertson Stephens, the corporate finance boutique. Helmut Schüsler, managing partner of TVM and head of its life science practice, said: "Hoffmann-Fischer's expertise in corporate finance will be of great value to us and our portfolio companies, particularly as we continue through this challenging financial market environment."
