Germany to push for Deutsche Post secondary issue

The German government is moving to line up a secondary offering in Deutsche Post, the German state postal service that was part-privatised towards the end of last year.

Germany's finance ministry on Friday said it was proposing changes to the German privatisation law governing its ownership level in Deutsche Post. A relaxing of the law could mean the state is able to start disposing of the rest of its ownership stake towards the end of this year.
