Getco, the influential market-making and high-frequency trading firm, has appointed a new chief technology officer in the latest in a series of changes to its senior management team over recent months as it deals with sluggish trading activity.
The Chicago-based firm has appointed Jon Ross as chief technology officer, it said in a statement today. He will be based in Chicago, and replaces Michel Rauchman, who left the firm earlier this year.
