Getco, the influential high-frequency trading firm, has hired a fixed-income specialist from Barclays Capital for its European team as part of a continued push by the firm into new asset classes.
Robert Wells, a former fixed income trader at Barclays Capital, joined Getco Europe earlier this month, according to sources familiar with the situation. Getco declined to comment.
