Robeco Investment Management, the US-based institutional asset management arm of global fund manager Robeco Group, has appointed Alkesh Gianchandani as a managing director and member of the firm's sales team.

Gianchandani is based in New York and reports to Jack Coan, managing director and head of sales. He replaces Colin Fitzgerald, who recently relocated to Robeco's headquarters in Rotterdam to establish the firm's US product sales in Europe.
