Glencore strikes deal for new London office in Mayfair

Mining group will become a new neighbour of private equity firm KKR at Crossrail office development

Glencore has struck a new office deal for its UK business, agreeing to take space in a Mayfair development above a station on the Crossrail train line.

The mining group will take almost 54,000 square feet across three floors at 18 Hanover Square. The nine-storey office block is being developed by Great Portland Estates, the London-listed property company, in a joint venture with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
