GLG makes more ex-Deutsche hires

GLG Partners, one of Europe's largest hedge fund managers, has made two new hires. Both managers, Purav Asher and Alistair Ling, are former Deutsche Bank colleagues of GLG managers Steve Roth and Michael O'Conner.

Asher joins from Pendragon Capital Management, a New York-based asset manager, where he was manager of the Japanese portion of the firm's convertible and multi-strategy fund. He is also a former head of Japanese convertible bond trading at Deutsche.
