Barclays Capital, one of the top debt underwriters, has reshuffled its bond syndicate team after its global head said last week he was stepping down from his position to pursue interests outside investment banking.

Geert Vinken, who helped build Barclays Capital into one of the top international bond underwriters during his eight years as global head of syndicate, is to be succeeded by Mark Bamford, who runs US syndicate in New York.
