GMT Communications Partners, a UK telecoms-focused private equity group, has hired Sebastien Canderle as a principal from rival Candover.

Canderle, who was an investment manager at Candover, joined this month and will help to raise GMT's third fund, which is seeking commitments of €500m ($588m).
