The People's Trust, the customer-owned investment trust set up by the former head of the Investment Association, has named the next five asset managers it will use to run the fund.

Daniel Godfrey, the divisive former chief of the trade body, will launch the trust later this year with the aim of returning 7% annually over a seven-year period.
