Goldman drafts in three heads to run investment banking

Goldman Sachs has appointed two new co-heads of investment banking to run the division alongside Scott Kapnick.

John Weinberg and Chris Cole have been named co-heads of Goldman's investment banking division. In an internal memo Hank Paulson, chairman of Goldman, and other senior managers, said that Weinberg will oversee the division's marketing efforts and Cole will manage Goldman's financing business. Both are Goldman veterans, having been at the firm since the mid 1980s.
