Goldman hires legal eagle for restructuring

Goldman Sachs has hired one of the most senior lawyers in the UK, the former head of law firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft's London office, as a managing director in its European restructuring business.

Andrew Wilkinson, former London managing partner of Cadwalader, has been brought in by Goldman as co-head of the restructuring business alongside Lachlan Edwards. Wilkinson will report to Tim Flynn and Doug Henderson, co-heads of European leveraged finance.
