The world’s leading financial institutions will send their top executives to Saudi Arabia’s flagship investment summit next week, after a number of high-profile names pulled out of the event last year in the wake of the death of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

David Schwimmer, the chief executive of the London Stock Exchange, will attend the Future Investment Initiative conference this October, alongside Goldman Sachs’s Dina Powell McCormick, a partner at its investment bank, and John Waldron, its chief operating officer.
