Michiel Lap has joined Goldman Sachs from Orange, the European mobile phones operator. He will join as a managing director to develop Goldman Sachs' investment banking business in the Netherlands alongside Pieter Maarten Feenstra.

Lap, a Dutch national, joins after three years at Orange, where he was executive vice president and part of the strategic investments team.
