As the novel coronavirus continues to spread and keep cities on lockdown in China, banks have started to donate to the relief efforts.

Bank of America has said it will contribute $500,000 to support relief efforts, of which $150,000 will go to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and $100,000 to Project HOPE, which is airlifting medical equipment to China. The rest will be allocated as needs are evaluated.
