Goldman Sachs has expanded its European business by nearly 300 people since the beginning of the year, as the US bank increased Brexit moves and hired on the continent.

Goldman has added 295 people since December to the unit housing its European activities, called Goldman Sachs Europe SE, as it built out staff numbers across the continent in the wake of the UK's formal departure from the European Union at the end of last year.
