Which banks are busiest in August?

Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank have each generated more than $40 million in investment banking fees in August, despite it being a quiet month

August may be a quiet month for investment banking activity, but that has not stopped Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank generating more than $150 million in investment banking fees in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the month to date.

The three banks rank first, second and third for investment banking revenues in Emea, according to data from Dealogic. Goldman Sachs has earned $59 million in fees in August thus far, with JP Morgan taking in $53 million, and Deutsche Bank $45 million.
