Goldman Sachs has named its largest partner class for eight years and its most diverse ever as the US banking giant has pushed to increase the number of women and ethnic minorities in its senior ranks.
For its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, it also means a bigger cut of total partners. Of the 80 to make partner, 21 — or 26% — were from Emea. This compares to 22% in the region when Goldman last anointed partners in 2020.
