Goldman Sachs has hired Mahir Zaimoglu, former head of private equity M&A for Emea at JPMorgan, as managing director in its financial sponsors M&A group.

Zaimoglu left JPM in June and joined Goldman Sachs earlier this week after a period of gardening leave, a spokesman confirmed.
