Goldman Sachs names new chief executives of Middle East unit

Goldman has been installing new leaders across many of its core divisions in recent months, as senior executives have either left the firm or moved into new roles

Goldman Sachs has named new chief executives of its business in the Middle East, replacing a near 30-year bank veteran, in the latest senior reshuffle at the US bank.

The Wall Street banking giant has split the leadership of its Middle East, and North Africa unit between Fadi Abuali and Zaid Khaldi, following the retirement of  Wassim Younan, who set up Goldman's business in the region in 2006, according to two separate memos seen by Financial News.
