Goldman Sachs names new M&A leaders in Asia

John Kim is stepping down as the bank’s head of mergers and acquisitions in the region to join Carlyle Group

Goldman Sachs has appointed new leaders of its mergers and acquisitions team in Asia, excluding Japan, as its head of dealmaking in the region leaves to join private equity firm Carlyle Group.

Goldman said on October 2 that Raghav Maliah and Jung Min will become co-heads of M&A in Asia, with Sushil Bathija, Goldman’s co-head of south-east Asia, also joining the team.
