Goldman Sachs named Elisha Wiesel as its new chief information officer, the bank’s top-ranking technology officer.

Wiesel is currently chief risk officer in Goldman’s securities division, which houses its trading business. That is the most technology-intensive part of the bank, as software increasingly replaces human traders.
