Goldman Sachs raises €1bn in Holland

Goldman Sachs has completed two Dutch offerings on Amsterdam Euronext within the last week. Tele Atlas, the digital map data provider, raised €467m ($548m) today and Royal Numico, the specialized food company, raised €550m at the beginning of the week.

Joint bookrunners for Tele Atlas, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Borthers and Morgan Stanley, priced shares in the Dutch firm at €18.50 last night, 8.1% below their current trading price on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange of €20.00 at 15:05 GMT.
