More than 150 former partners of Goldman Sachs have sold shares in the firm worth a combined $460m (€547.4m) in the past month. They also have the right to sell more than $300m of shares by the end of the firm's fourth quarter.
The sales, revealed in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US, are in addition to the $4.1bn secondary share offering by Goldman Sachs in August. They are part of a programme of share sales by former and retired partners to gradually release stock into the market.
