Goldman Sachs’ chief executive takes a pay cut

Goldman Sachs chief executive Lloyd Blankfein saw his pay fall by 4% last year, meaning he and Citigroup chief Michael Corbat are the only heads of big Wall Street firms to take pay cuts for 2016, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Blankfein was paid $22 million in total for 2016, according to a regulatory filing on Friday. His cash bonus fell to $4 million from $6.3 million, but his salary was unchanged at $2 million.
