Rudolf Ferscha of Goldman Sachs is to replace Jorg Franke as the new chairman of Eurex, according to sources close to both Franke and the Swiss-German derivatives exchange.

Ferscha, currently chief operating officer at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, is likely to take up his new position at the end of the year, following the departure of Franke who has been chairman for 12 years.
