Gontard & Metallbank, the Frankfurt-based private bank closed by German regulator Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BAFin) last week, has indicated the level of its indebtedness and stands in judgement of the regulator, a step closer to insolvency.
