So it’s goodbye to BarCap, hello to the “investment banking division of Barclays”, as the UK bank drops its “Barclays Capital” brand after 15 years of use.

The change comes as part of a plan by the bank to align all of its units under one brand, which also includes the removal of its "Barclays Wealth" and "Barclays Corporate" branding. All divisions of the bank will now move under the sole "Barclays" brand.
