Gove attacks EU for seeking to control neighbours under guise of ‘noble motives’

The UK’s chief negotiator Lord Frost had said the UK had committed to not reducing standards on areas such the environment, labour law and climate goals after the transition period ends

The UK’s minister for the Cabinet Office Michael Gove took a swipe at the EU today accusing it of pursuing control over members states and neighbours under the cover of “noble motives”.
