A senior lawyer at the Department of International Trade has escaped being struck off for his upskirting conviction after blaming his actions on his stress due to the long hours he spent working on Brexit.

Daren Timson-Hunt was convicted of the offence after pleading guilty on 26 September 2019 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. He admitted using his phone to take an upskirt picture of a female passenger at Embankment Station on 1 July 2019.
