The former head of equity research in Europe at Nomura, who left the bank in March amid a shake-up that saw close to 20 departures, will join RBC Capital Markets' equity research business.

Graeme Pearson will join the bank as head of research in Europe in a couple of weeks time, according to two sources familiar with the situation. He replaces Nick Hyslop, who had been heading the business and who left recently, the sources said.
