Graphite Capital takes kitchen retailer private

Graphite Capital, the UK private equity house, has joined the European trend for taking listed companies private in its buy-out of The Range Cooker Company, a UK kitchen systems retailer.

Shareholders of the firm, which is listed on London's Alternative Investment Market (AIM), were bought out for £23m (€36m). Royal Bank of Scotland provided £12m in debt in a deal that has taken more than a year to complete.
