Grasso fails in McCall lawsuit

A judge has dismissed a suit filed by ex-New York Stock Exchange chairman Richard Grasso against a former board member in relation with his controversial $187.5m (€147m) compensation package.

Grasso's case against H. Carl McCall argued that former chairman of the NYSE's compensation committee, that approved Grasso's $190m pay and retirement package, should be held responsible for some part of the compensation he received during his tenure, should the court deem it unreasonable.
