Greek government bonds have started trading on EuroMTS, the online fixed income trading platform, which should boost liquidity and significantly increase their attractiveness to investors and dealers alike.

Greek government bonds will trade alongside 70 other benchmark securities issued by nine countries. A group of 15 dealers are committed to make markets in the bonds. Other firms will trade Greek debt over time.
