Financial executives doing their bit to promote green investment in the UK featured strongly in the 2018 New Year's Honours list, while there was also recognition for a City lawyer who advised the government on its investments in bailed-out banks.
Among those named in the annual roll-call were Shaun Kingsbury, former chief executive of the Green Investment Bank, who was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), and Irene Adams, ex-adviser to the chair of the GIB, who was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
