Two big new office redevelopments in the City of London have been approved by the body that governs the Square Mile, after a bumper period for companies leasing new space in the capital’s financial heartland.

The new-look 1-2 Broadgate and Stonecutter Court were both given the go-ahead by the City of London Corporation on January 29. Votes were unanimously in favour at a meeting of its planning and transportation committee.
