Trade body the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association has lauded a chief executive backed by regional venture capital firm Enterprise Ventures for his achievements in corporate and environmental responsibility in a national competition to find the UK’s best portfolio company management.

Peter Blezard, chief executive of Plant Impact, has won the corporate and environmental responsibility prize in the north-west heats of the BVCA CEO Awards 2009, run in association with Private Equity News.
