Greenest consumer-goods giants named

Dove soap, Colgate toothpaste and Magnum ice-creams are among the consumer brands that have done the most to go green, and should win their parent companies the loyalty of eco-conscious consumers.

This is the conclusion reached by CDP, a think-tank that analyses businesses’ environmental performance. It has drawn up a list of consumer-goods companies it thinks are ahead of the curve on preparing for climate change, as well as tapping into customer trends such as veganism and activism on reducing plastic packaging.
