Greenlight Capital has said an ongoing spat with one of its former staffers over his job title is hurting its business, deterring investors from putting money in the multi-billion-dollar hedge fund and hindering its ability to recruit new employees.

In a fresh lawsuit filed on 25 June, Greenlight called on a New York court to place a “permanent injunction” on ex-staffer James Fishback to block him from referring to himself as its former “head of macro.”
