Schroder Investment Management has been dropped by the pension fund of the London Borough of Greenwich, which has hired four new fund managers following its decision to adopt a different investment strategy.

Greenwich has ceased running its entire scheme in balanced funds in favour of specialist managers. Schroder Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management were the pension fund's two balanced managers.
