Goldman Sachs Asset Management, which was hit by the recent departure of David Burnside as head of its hedge fund strategies group, has appointed Hugh Lawson and Nadja Pinnavaia as new co-heads of the business.
Lawson and Pinnavaia have been with Goldman Sachs for five and seven years, respectively. Lawson has worked with both corporate and investment clients in the firm's investment banking and investment management divisions. Pinnavaia is already a member of the hedge fund strategies group, and has previously served as part Goldman Sachs' equity derivatives and private wealth management groups.
